Is personal property covered while being transported to a new residence?
Yes - for up to 30 days for the same named perils as in other losses (NOT BREAKAGE). The policy must remain in force for the coverage to apply.
My tree fell on my neighbor's property. Will my homeowners policy pay for the damage?
For you to owe for the neighbor's damage you must first be negligent. If the tree appeared healthy and not a danger, you do not owe and your homeowner's liability will not pay. Your policy does provide an exception. If you cause damage to another's property, even without negligence, at your request we will pay up to a sub-limit. (SH-3-$500, SH-7-$1,000)
Am I covered when I rent a car?
Yes! You receive the same coverage that your ANPAC ® Automobile policy provides. However, having an accident in a rental car can adversely affect the price of your Automobile policy.
When am I covered when I buy/acquire a car?
You are covered upon acquisition of a car subject to the following policy language.

Your insured car is a car you acquire during the policy period if it replaces a car described in the Declarations. You must notify us within 30 days of its acquisition and pay us any additional premium.

Your insured car is a car you acquire during the policy period if it is an additional car and we insure all private passenger cars or utility vehicles owned by you on the date of your acquisition of the car. You must notify us during the policy period and within 30 days after the date of acquisition of your election to make this and no other policy issued by us applicable to the car and you must pay us any additional premium due.
